Boys Brigade and Air Training Corps on the Road for Chlor-ChemicalsMore than 4,000 calendars have been hand-delivered to homes in Runcorn thanks to the efforts of local branches of the Air Training Corps and the Boys Brigade.Chlor-Chemicals enlisted the help of members of Runcorn ATC 306 Squadron, the 1st/3rd and the 4th Company's of the Boys Brigade to deliver its community calendar which focuses on the theme of 'Chemicals For Life'. Runcorn Boys Brigade Captain, Graham Loftus said "It is a superb opportunity to be involved in such a community activity and at the same time develop teamwork and planning skills within the corps. "We have been involved in joint community related activities with Chlor-Chemicals before and are delighted with their efforts in supporting local youth organisations such as ourselves." £900 has been awarded to the groups involved by way of recognition for their efforts.
