Faces for our Future
Local
people are to be the stars of Chlor-Chemicals millenium community
calendar entitled Faces of the Future.
Award-winning photographer Steve Williams has
been out and about on the streets of Runcorn, Frodsham and Northwich
capturing on camera our community and recording their perceptions
and hopes for the future.
Ten year old Jessica Walsh of Runcorn is delighted to be part of
the calendar, she hopes for a brighter future "I hope you will
be able to buy cheaper chocolate and toys" she said.
Community relations officer John Sanders is pleased with the result
and said: "The year 2000 represents a milestone in history
- we feel it is an appropriate time to produce a calendar that reflects
both the journey into the new milleniumand Chlor-Chemicals in partnership
with its communities starting its journey to achieve long term success."
Approximately 14,000 copies of the calendar will be made available
to Halton's and Northwich's communities through local information
points, libraries and a door-to-door delivery exercise by local
youth groups during December.
