INEOS Chlor 5-a-Day CampaignHungry workers at INEOS Chlor in Runcorn are this week tucking into a diet of fresh fruit and vegetables as part of a national campaign designed to encourage healthier eating in the workplace. The 5-a-Day Campaign is being run across the UK in partnership with industry, schools, communities, retailers and the media to increase awareness of the benefits of a healthy diet. INEOS Chlor has teamed up with Sophia Aston from the local 5-a-Day Initiative to promote healthy eating amongst workers at the Runcorn plant through a variety of events and promotions. Sheila Gribben, Occupational Health Advisor at INEOS Chlor comments: "We're taking part in this scheme to encourage workers to consider the benefits of healthy eating. Not only do fruit and vegetables help to protect us from long-term diseases and keep our bodies in good working order, but a healthy diet can also contribute to a more active and healthier lifestyle."
