Local Club Puts One in the Net

Up and coming Moore Rangers Football Club are celebrating this week after receiving a helping hand from local chemical company INEOS Chlor.

The company has provided the club with new training and match day footballs along with a set of new goal nets.

Club Secretary, Ian Hughes, said: "It's great that a local company is taking an interest in youth sport. We are a local club that encourages and develops local sporting talent."

Moore Rangers U15s came sixth in their league last year and were narrowly beaten in the Warrington Cup Final.

Janet Ward, INEOS Chlor community relations manager, said: "We are happy to support projects that involve young people in the community. One of the best ways for youngsters to get involved is through sport."

INEOS Chlor has an active community outreach programme designed to foster community involvement and social inclusion.
