INEOS CHLOR HELPS FIND A HOME FOR BPR LEIRIA JUNIOR FOOTBALL CLUB

INEOS Chlor has helped BPR Leiria Junior Football Club, who have been struggling to secure a pitch and playing facilities, by providing them with a £300 donation. This donation will enable the team to play at the Pavilions pitch on Sandy Lane throughout the coming season.

BPR Leiria Junior Football Club is about to go into the under 13's league this season and last season achieved success by reaching fourth place in their league and were cup finalists. The club has also successfully achieved their Charter Mark from the Football Association.

Club Secretary, Julie Cole, said: "We are thrilled that INEOS Chlor have supported our football team this year. This will enable the team to continue playing with much improved facilities at the new ground."

Janet Ward, INEOS Chlor Community Relations Manager, said: "We are always keen to support projects that involve local young people and sport. Sport is one of the best ways to develop the skills of young people through team work and communication with the added benefit of it being a fun activity."

INEOS Chlor has an active community outreach programme designed to foster community involvement and social inclusion for further details contact Janet Ward, INEOS Chlor Community Relations on telephone 01928 515277.
