INEOS CHLOR MAKES A BEE-LINE FOR NEW CHILDCARE SCHEME

Working parents at Runcorn based chemical firm INEOS Chlor are benefiting from an innovative scheme to help them with their childcare costs. The company has teamed up with Busy Bees Childcare Vouchers to provide staff with discounted childcare.

Under the scheme staff can exchange part of their salary for childcare vouchers that can be used to pay for nursery places, child minders and even out of school kids clubs. The vouchers are exempt from National Insurance contributions, meaning that working parents can cut the cost of their childcare by up to 10 percent a year.

Margaret Lambert, INEOS Chlor Human Resources, said: "The voucher scheme is being rolled out as part of our family friendly policy. At INEOS Chlor we understand the needs of our working parents and the challenges they face when arranging childcare."

Adds Margaret: "The real beauty of the scheme is that parents can choose to use their vouchers at any registered childcare provider, which means they have the flexibility they need and the added benefit of saving money."

Busy Bees is one of the UK's leading childcare organisations providing high quality care and services for parents and their children, early years workers and educators, and family friendly employers.
