INEOS CHLOR PROVIDES THE TECHNOLOGY TO UPGRADE MONDI BUSINESS PAPER’S CHLOR-ALKALI PLANT AT RICHARDS BAY, SOUTH AFRICAINEOS Chlor is providing the technology to upgrade the 25,000 Te/annum chlor-alkali plant operated by Mondi Business Paper at Richards Bay in South Africa. Mondi Business Paper is a long-term customer
of INEOS Chlor and used its original membrane cell technology FM21-HP
when the plant was constructed in 1985. This upgrade secures the
long-term future of the chlor-alkali plant and is part of Mondi
Business Paper's ongoing investment strategy. Mr. Andries Lombaard, Chemical Plant Superintendent
of Mondi Business Paper said: "We are pleased to up-grade our
plant using INEOS Chlor's technology. We have a long term relationship
with INEOS Chlor and value their ongoing technical support and customer
