BOOST FOR JUNIOR RUGBY TEAMMoorfield Under 10's Junior Rugby League Football Club has been boosted by financial support from local chemical company INEOS Chlor. The Club, who are aiming to play in the North West Counties Amateur Rugby Football League when they reach the age grade, currently plays "enthusiastic" friendly matches at Moorfield Social Club. INEOS Chlor has provided the team with kit and equipment such as shorts, socks, rugby balls and tackle shields etc. Lee Woods, the team's coach said: "It is really good that local companies are supporting us in our quest to provide sports coaching for youngsters. We need all the help that we can get to provide quality training for the kids, and equipment to do this is a necessity." Said Janet Ward, INEOS Chlor Community Relations Manager: "We are pleased to be working with such a wide variety of sporting clubs across the borough. It is really rewarding to know that we are helping to provide local kids with much needed sports equipment to enable them to develop their sporting skills."
