LOCAL CHEMICAL COMPANY KITS OUT LOCAL YOUNG FOOTBALL TEAMRuncorn based chemical company INEOS ChlorVinyls has purchased a brand new football kit for a budding local football team, Frodsham JFC. The Company provided the Under 9's team with a donation of £275 to buy their new football strip. The boy's old kit had seen better days and they were in desperate need of a replacement. As the team draws youngsters from the Frodsham and Runcorn area, INEOS ChlorVinyls was the obvious choice to help the team out, supported by the fact that the request came from Carl Smith an INEOS employee. The team consists of twenty 8 and 9 year old boys who form 2 teams, Frodsham Whites and Frodsham Blues. The teams compete in the Mid Cheshire league and use local training facilities to hone their skills. The teams are notching up some impressive results and were unbeaten in their first two seasons 2004/5 and 2005/6. John Heath, Frodsham JFC Under 9's Manager said: "We're really pleased that INEOS ChlorVinyls has been able to support us and the kids are over the moon. A new kit can really make a difference to a team's morale and performance, and we believe sport to be an important activity for developing the youngsters communication skills and team spirit!" Janet Ward, INEOS ChlorVinyls Community Relations Manager, said: "We're thrilled to be able to help Frodsham JFC with their new kit, and they even have our logo printed proudly on the front. This sponsorship is particularly important to us as it's a great way of building relationships with local youngsters who live near to our operations in Runcorn." ENDS
