INEOS ChlorVinyls Announces S-PVC Price Increase for June and July 2008
INEOS ChlorVinyls has today announced a price
increase of €100 per tonne for all its S-PVC grades in Europe
during June and July 2008.
S-PVC margins have continued to erode as S-PVC
prices have not kept in step with the first and second quarter
ethylene increases of €78 per tonne and €15 per tonne
respectively.
Continued strength in the price of crude oil,
gas and related feedstock costs have added further pressure on
margins.
The new increased price levels will be
effective from 1 June 2008.
