INEOS ChlorVinyls Announces Caustic Soda and Caustic Potash Price Increases

INEOS ChlorVinyls has today announced a Euro 80 per dry metric tonne price increase for Quarter Four 2011 caustic soda contracts. Quarter Four caustic potash contracts will increase by Euro 65 per dry metric tonne, Euro 32.5 per liquid metric tonne (50%).

The increases are due to reduced margins on the electro-chemical unit. These are under further pressure from increasing costs. Non-contract business is subject to price agreement at the time of ordering.
