INEOS ChlorVinyls Announces Additional Caustic Soda Price Increase

INEOS ChlorVinyls has today announced a further price increase of €40 per dry metric tonne for Q4 2010 caustic soda contracts. This is in addition to the earlier €65 per dry metric tonne increase, making the total increase for Q4 €105 per dry metric tonne.

The further increase is due to continued supply limitations, combined with increased customer demand, and brings European contract net-backs in line with international values. Non-contract business is subject to price agreement at the time of ordering.
