INEOS CHLORVINYLS SUPPORT LOCAL CRAFT GROUP Frodsham Community Craft Club recently benefited from a donation of £250 from local chemical manufacturer INEOS ChlorVinyls. The craft group was established in 2007 by locals, Rita Shearn, Joan Peers and Maureen Lowther, who were inspired by their love of paper crafting and are now proud to have approximately 17 members. The group, based at Frodsham Community Centre, is non-profit making and all proceeds from their crafts are donated to local worthy causes. Rita said “We are delighted to accept the donation from INEOS ChlorVinyls that will allow us to buy some much needed equipment for our members. It is very rewarding for us to see others gaining enjoyment from learning new techniques and developing their own creativity, whilst having fun and meeting new friends." Janet Ward, INEOS ChlorVinyls’ Community Relations Manager said; “This club provides a valuable resource for local people and we are particularly pleased that it welcomes people from all sections of the community." The Group welcomes new members including pensioners, young mums, teenagers and those with learning difficulties. For more details contact Rita Shearn on telephone 01928 732906.
