INEOS ChlorVinyls Announces Paste PVC Price Increase

INEOS ChlorVinyls has today announced a €75 per tonne price increase for its paste PVC grades in Euro based markets. In other markets, equivalent increases are applied according to the local currencies.

The increase is as a result of surging demand and low stock levels, which has stretched the entire supply chain. Customers are likely to face allocations throughout coming months as order books continue to show healthy demand for our products.

The price increase is effective from 1 July 2010 or at the earliest date subject to contract conditions. Assessment of pricing levels will be undertaken again during August and any further upward movement for September will be advised accordingly.
