Please note - visitors to Randle Site should use the map and directions provided below. M56 Westbound via Junction 11 Leave the M56 at Junction 11 (signposted Preston Brook, Daresbury), then at the roundabout take the 4th exit onto A56 (signposted Warrington). After approximately 1.5 miles, turn left at the new traffic lights on to A558 Daresbury Expressway (signposted Runcorn). Continue on the A558, taking the 2nd exit at the next roundabout (signposted The Bridge, Runcorn) and the 2nd exit at the following roundabout (signposted for The Bridge and Widnes). Continue forward past Manor Park, past the first Astmoor turnoff and past the Central Expressway to Northwich. Take the next Astmoor turn off, which is also signposted for Wigg Island Community Park and turn right under the bridge onto Astmoor Road. From here follow the directions below headed 'From Astmoor Road'. M56 Eastbound via Junction 12 Leave M56 at Junction 12 and take the 3rd exit at the roundabout onto the Rocksavage Expressway A557 (signposted The Bridge, M62, M57, Runcorn). Take the first exit from this expressway (signposted Central Expressway, Runcorn Town Centre) round the right hand bend and merge with the dual carriageway. Take the left hand lane as the carriageway forks and join the Central Expressway A533. Continue forward for approximately 1 mile then bear left when the carriageway forks, heading toward the Silver Jubilee Bridge. Merge with the new expressway and take the first exit signposted Astmoor and Wigg Island Community Park then follow directions given below headed 'From Astmoor Road'. Southbound via Silver Jubilee Bridge (Runcorn/Widnes Bridge) Cross the Silver Jubilee Bridge (keep in the left hand land on bridge) and follow the signs for Northwich/Warrington to merge with the expressway. Continue forward along the expressway, through two sets of traffic lights, then take the second exit, signposted for Astmoor and Wigg Island Community Park. Turn left onto Astmoor Road then follow the directions below headed 'From Astmoor Road'. From Astmoor Road About 100m down Astmoor Road there is a bus lane crossing with traffic lights. After the bus crossing take the first left and follow the road round to the traffic lights then right across the swing bridge. Once over the swing bridge beware of the speed ramps, the first of which is poorly painted. Follow the road that runs alongside the canal, through the old wharf gates – do not take the left fork to the Community Park. The canalside road bends left after 1-2 miles and finishes at INEOS ChlorVinyls Randle Site. Upon arrival please report to the Gate House.
