PVC for the industrial sector

PVC products of all kinds are as widespread in industrial applications as they are in all other aspects of modern society.

PVC cables, pipes, construction elements, flooring materials, window frames, etc. are encountered in plants and industrial installations all over the world. PVC components are also integrated in many of the industrial products made in these plants.

PVC production itself is a huge capital-intensive industry. It starts with oil extraction and salt mining, goes on to the petrochemical plants and crackers and further to the PVC manufacturing plants proper such as the INEOS ChlorVinyls plants in the UK, Norway, Sweden and Germany. From this stage it joins the plastics industry with its hundreds of thousands of employees all over the world.
